Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Add a Calculated Field to a Metric Formula

After you have created a calculated field, you can add it to a metric formula.

To add a calculated field to a metric formula, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Metrics tab, select the Metrics view.
  2. On the Primary, Secondary, and/or Tripwire Formula tabs, click Advanced to access the Formula box.
  3. Enter or edit a formula. Add the name of the calculated field wherever you need it within the formula.
